Give me my life

'Give me my mum' 'Give me my dad'
Cried the girl
Take my arms, legs and eyes
But give them back to me
For I am their's and they are mine
I breathe them
And today with just one knife and bullet - you ended it all
Take my eyes, but give me my mum
Take my arms and legs, but give me my dad
My heart's weeping and screaming
Falling and breaking
Give them to me
I dont want any riches nor do I want any of the money
Why did you take them away from me
Take my heart, take my head
But why did you take my mind?
They live in there, give them to me
End me now or this life will never forgive you
End the world, for my world is dead
End me now
Shoot me - Give me the gun
I am shooting myself
Here I go - To let you know
That you will never be forgiven
Here I go.

Bits and pieces

Pieces of dreams lying on the floor
He gathers them all
To find her gone
Castles of the dreams they built
Destiny they named themselves
Infinite happiness they discovered
With the breeze flying through their hair
Endless smiles smiled
Memorable times spent
The walk into the unknown he could not stop
She walked
Walked away from the dreams and the castles
Reflections of the times he would never find
A ray of light piercing the clouds
touching him and giving him the smile
He prays
Still prays.

Thanks!

That rainy night, under the dark sky
Walked the mind, free of all worries
Hand in hand with a smile
A beautiful smile, taking all the blues away
Each step into the puddles cheerily
Splashing the slush on selves
The white fading into the slush
A walk just into the unknown
directionless, aimless - Happy
A hand that held tight
The steps that would always walk along
Blood we share,
Womb that owned us - the same
How happy the mind is to share this life with you
A small little thanks to you
for the walk, for the fun
and for always being there!

Scarred for life

Scarred for life
Mirror breaks into millions
Hate is all that I see in it
Detest the reflection of myself
Defeated by my own self
Hated by own self
Take the life in me
Give me the least love to love myself
Set me free from the hate
I am scarred for life
In death I want to sleep
Death, dont look into my eyes
For I am vile
I deserve the hate from death
I no more breathe
For I am wretched by my soul
Death, will you take me?
Life, Will you give me away to death?
I cant look into my eyes
I cant look into me
My eyes hate me, My mind hates me, I hate me
Scarred for life is this life
In death, would the scar vanish?
Death - Take me into you
I live no more
Scarred dead for life.

My Dear Sky

The world looks upto you and find you so high
Shielding the earth in the beautiful blue and
In all the other hues
Tall and colourful, you stand
Holding your family tight –
The Sun, The Stars and The Earth that you blanket
So blessed I feel, to be a part of you
Light, water and beauty you give to life
Star I am, A small bright star
My brightness knows not my span of life
Of all the people who hold greater importance in your life
I am after all – just a small star who knows not its life
But tight I hold you, dear I hold you to me
In pride I stand – to be a part of you
Falling stars are a beauty to all
But it is an end to the star’s life
I know not when I will fall and die
But reluctant I am to leave you
Since in love I am, with you
I hold you dear, I hold you tight
And forever will – in life and in death
My dear Sky.

Acha

Life you gave me, Love you gave me
All that I could ask for, you gave me
Even before I ask for it
When I cry, you are hurt more than I
Sitting by your feet, I am truly happy
You taught me to walk, every step with a smile
And if I fall, you are more hurt
But you always put a smile on me
You went hungry so that my hunger could vanish
‘Molu’ – you called me. And every time you do
It sounds like a part of you
I am, a part of you
You always told me to live happy
With no regrets to this smile called life
You held my hand and taught me to pray
Our usual ritual of praying, always brought smiles to us
Any dream I have, you always make it possible
For me to live the dream
You taught me to help anyone in need
You taught me how to believe in friendship even when your best friend
Greedily stabs you in your back
You taught me that the best would happen if you do your best
You taught me hard work
Every struggle of yours to live life inspires every cell in me
You taught me to think before every step
You taught me to love family and never forget respect for all
Father, you’re my blessing
You have been my light, my life and
I am truly blessed to call you ‘Acha’.

Howl of pain

Serenity and peace is all that I dream of
Breathing - I am
But eyes open and I see
Blood all over
Bombs thrown in, to break lives around
To break minds
Innocents die
Lives whipped in the name of religion
Mind wonders which God says KILL
Father cries over the loss of his son
Life never would let him forget the last words of his son
“Father, Are you asleep? Where’s Ma?”
Tender years unable to realise the loss of birth givers
A day to celebrate the day of its birth,
And the tender child is ‘gifted’ with its parent’s death
Deserve, does it?
Save the home – The soldiers do
Losing their lives – to the cruelty bleeding the home
Ruthlessness rejoices seeing the blood and broken lives
Life – is all that matters to the lives
But cruelty stings the poison deep in
Silence in cries, Agony in tears
Shriek in hush-hush dead air
Cry of anguish and loss
Quiet in chaos – melancholy
No mind of any God said KILL,
Yet lives take lives.
